Edge profiles.
Every one we make.
The edge is the last detail — and one of the most visible. Select any profile below to see the shape, understand the differences, and figure out which one fits your space.

Pencil Edge
A slightly rounded top corner that gives a clean, quiet finish. The most understated profile we offer — it lets the stone do the talking. Popular in kitchens with flat-front cabinets and minimal hardware where simplicity is the point.

3/8 Rounded Edge
A more pronounced quarter-circle than the pencil — smooth and streamlined across the full top corner. A step up in softness without crossing into traditional territory. Great for kitchens that want a refined modern feel with just a little more warmth at the edge.

Half Bullnose Edge
Rounded on the top half, flat on the bottom face. The most versatile profile we offer — it reads as contemporary in a modern kitchen and traditional in a classic one. A reliable choice for homeowners who want something that bridges both worlds without committing to either.

Full Bullnose Edge
A fully rounded edge — smooth from top all the way to the bottom face with no flat section. No sharp angles anywhere. The most forgiving profile for busy households with kids, and one of the most timeless looks in countertop design. Works beautifully on both granite and quartz.

Ogee Edge
An S-curve profile — convex on the upper section, concave on the lower. The most detailed edge in our lineup. It adds genuine visual character and works beautifully in traditional kitchens. Trey hand-finishes every ogee to make sure the curves read cleanly on the final install.

Beveled Edge
A 45-degree angled cut along the top corner — clean, architectural, and more interesting than a flat edge. Works equally well in modern and transitional kitchens. The bevel catches light differently on darker stones and adds a precision-cut look that pairs well with integrated hardware.

Waterfall Edge
The countertop material continues vertically down the side of the island or cabinet — a seamless, unbroken flow of stone from horizontal to vertical. Dramatic, architectural, unmistakable. Requires a precision mitered seam at the corner to match the vein pattern. Trey is meticulous about getting that seam right.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most standard edge profiles — pencil, bullnose, bevel, half bullnose — are included in the base fabrication price. The ogee and waterfall involve additional fabrication work, so those are priced separately. We'll give you a clear line-item quote so there are no surprises.
-
Yes — and it's actually a popular choice. A lot of Columbus homeowners do a waterfall on the island and a pencil or bevel on the perimeter counters. We fabricate everything in-house so we can do whatever the design calls for.
-
Pencil, rounded, and beveled edges are the easiest — no deep grooves or curves to collect crumbs. The ogee has more detail, so it takes a bit more attention. If easy cleaning is your priority, we'll steer you toward a simpler profile.
-
Absolutely. We have physical samples of every profile at our showroom at 5767 Westbourne Ave — walk-ins welcome Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, Saturday 10am–2pm. Bring your cabinet sample and we'll help you figure out what looks right together.
